Conquer The Island, 5K

Saturday, June 10, 2023

After a PANDEMIC-SIZED hiatus, we are excited to attend this 5K for a good cause: Operation Helping Hand.

The Operation Helping Hand (OHH) Initiative is a program where law enforcement plays an integral part in identifying individuals with substance use disorders and together with community partners serves as a point of entry into treatment and/or recovery support services.

KEA Toy Drive

annually, mid-December

Each December, KEA participates in an office toy drive benefiting the St. Peter's University Hospital Pediatric Unit. The thought of bringing hospitalized children just a bit of joy during the holidays brings KEA together for this special cause.

**2020 & Beyond Update**
With an abundance of caution following the COVID-19 Pandemic, St. Peter's University Hospital no longer accepts physical gift donations. Instead, a Virtual Toy Drive is hosted each year to raise the money that is used to provide toys and other items to The Children's Hospital.

No gift is too great or too small. Join KEA in bringing holiday cheer and smiles to as many children as possible. Thank you!

Into the light

Saturday, May 4, 2019

The KEA team came together for a good cause: mental health awareness. We partnered with "Into The Light", a non-profit whose mission is to rid the stigma around all mental health issues facing teens and young adults. This 5K Fun Run started at Rutgers' Cook Campus and somehow managed to avoid all rainfall. It was a beautiful day, complete with vendors, guest speakers and plenty of supporters.

Into The Light imagines a society where people struggling with mental illness, regardless of their circumstances, feel comfortable reaching out for help; where in their worst moments, they are met with understanding, compassion and solutions; where as a result they experience a greater level of safety, dignity and healing.
